If you wish to attend the banquet the cost will be an additional $37.00 (cost is NOT included in the $35.00 convention registration fee). NOTICE: The cost here are strictly what the MPWU needs for registration and the convention banquet - your local or state may have additional fees. Please contact your Local and/or state president for further information. Alaska, Idaho, Oregon and Washington participants - please contact your state president for a registration sheet. Montana participants - all registration costs for the Multi-state convention for Montana participants are being covered by the MPWU (up to the number of delegates you are entitled to under the constitution). Registration Refunds: To get a refund of your registration fee you must contact MPWU Secretary/Treasurer Larry Swift by a deadline of Wednesday, April 14, 2010. After this date we are locked into the lunches, dinners, refreshments, etc. that we have ordered based on the registrations received and no refunds will be given, no exceptions. When the MPWU signed our contract with the hotel we committed to a 150 room block for this event. If we do not fill 80% of our room block the MPWU could be charged substantial penalties. We asked the hotel to allow us to revisit the room block and they agreed to do this up until Friday, February 26. The MPWU may be reducing our room block on this date to avoid paying any penalties. Our room block (currently 150 rooms) will be held until Monday, March 29, 2010. After this date our block will be released immediately. The hotel will continue to accept reservations on a space and rate available rate only (if you can get a room the cost may go up as our $91.00 + tax negotiated rate is only good through this date). Mention the NW Region Multi-state or the APWU when making your reservation to get government rate. The government rate is currently $91.00 + tax (Government rate was renegotiated October 1, 2009) You must bring your government ID to get this government rate If you are a retiree or you have never worked for the P.O. (auxiliary members, etc.) please make your hotel reservation under our block. The large copier is going to be rented from a business outside of the hotel - so there will be no on-site maintenance - but we'll have a number for a repairman. COPA items: We will also have a large centrally located room for all state's to set up tables with the COPA items, 50/50 raffle, Auxiliary projects. This room will also be occupied by the Auxiliary members who will be attending and conducting their own convention.
